Height (enclosure with side profiles) |
Height of the side profiles (side profile 1 = 42 mm, side profile 2 = 56 mm) |
Fit into 19” rack (enclosure with side profiles) |
This option causes the width to be ignored and instead creates an enclosure with a front panel that is 483 mm wide and an enclosure body that is 437 mm wide, which is precisely adapted to the dimensions of 19” systems. The height of the front panel is also correspondingly larger and stands slightly above the enclosure body. |
Model (enclosure with housing profiles) |
Housing profiles 1 and 2 differ in the way the cover panels are mounted. While both adjacent cover panels of housing profile 1 are guided into grooves, one of the two adjacent cover panels of housing profile 2 is screw-mounted with square nuts that are guided into corresponding profile grooves. HP1: Side, cover, and base panels are guided (inserted) into grooves. HP2: Two of the four cover panels are screw-mounted (removable). HP1 and HP2 combination: Three of the four cover panels are guided into grooves, and one is screw-mounted. |

Height units (enclosure with housing profiles) |
Here, you can alternatively specify the enclosure’s height in 19” height units (1 HU: 43.95 mm, 2 HUs: 88.40 mm, 3 HUs: 132.85 mm). |

Depth |

Panel thickness |
Material thickness. The required cavities for guiding in the housing profiles are generated automatically. If you subsequently change the thickness of individual panels, adjust the depth of the grooves. |
Panel color |
The panel material is anodized aluminum. Accordingly, the standard anodized colors are available for selection. The color of the individual panels can be subsequently edited. |
Color of the screws/profiles |
No assortment: No accessories are added to the order, only the created front panels are ordered. Natural/Black: The required side or housing profiles as well as a matching assembly kit (screws and rubber feet) in the color natural or black are added to the order. When creating the enclosure, the shopping cart, which already contains the accessories, opens automatically. You can change or remove the items there as needed later. |
Add housing brackets |
Housing brackets are used for additional stabilization. It is advisable to use them for enclosures with at least one side length > 150 mm. If this option is selected, the program automatically creates drill holes in the relevant sides of the enclosure in a suitable location; in addition, a corresponding number of housing brackets are added to the shopping cart. Note: The drill holes are evenly spaced along the length; move the drill holes if they overlap with elements you have created on the panel. |
Add guide lines |
Adds the outlines of the connecting panels and profiles in the individual files. Note: Since the individual files are not linked to one another, the outlines will not change if you have changed a panel’s thickness or width. |
Avoid drill holes on front panel (use standoffs) |
This option only works if you have selected the “Add housing brackets” option. When selecting this option, no countersunk holes for screws are made where the housing brackets are located; instead, studs are inserted on the reverse side. |
Test run (create front side only) |
Only creates the front side at first. To subsequently create the remaining sides of the enclosure, start the housing tool again. |
