Non-produced elements
Non-produced elements are objects that should not appear on the front panel but rather are inserted into the drawing simply for informational purposes only (for example, markings, information on assembly elements, and outlines of adjacent parts).
To indicate that an element is a non-produced element, use the named elements (milled objects, engraving elements, graphic files) and mark the Do not produce object checkbox in the respective properties dialog. The elements in question are shown in blue in the drawing and are not included in production or in the price calculation.
Note: Use these options primarily for notes that you need yourself. Please enter notes directed at our production team in the Remarks for production field in the front panel’s dialog Create new file > Base panel.
You can control the display of the non-produced elements via View > Display non-produced elements (Ctrl + H)/Display only non-produced elements (Shift + H).
