The origin is the point to which the coordinates of all objects in the drawing refer. It is represented by a blue circle with a crosshair. The origin can be moved at any time if necessary. At the beginning of a new drawing, it is located in the lower left corner of the front panel (for non-rectangular panels, it is located in the lower left corner of the enclosing rectangle).
To move the origin, call Set origin and then select one of the insertion options that appear on the right in the toolbar. The procedure is the same as for inserting elements see: Inserting elements > Workflow. The coordinates of the origin that was moved refer to the lower left corner of the front panel.
Tip: If you want to move the origin to one of the front panel’s corners or center (side) points, you can also use one of the keyboard’s number keys (1 to 9) after calling the function.
