Overview and Order
The final tab in the ordering program shows you
the contents of the cart,
the information you entered for your address, contact, and payment method, as well as
the production and shipping services you selected.
You have the option to change all of your entries before you submit the order online.
Completeness of customer data
When you select the “Overview and order” tab, the program verifies the information you entered, both for completeness and compliance with certain formats. If anything should be missing or there is a format error (for instance, in the e-mail address), a corresponding list will be displayed to assist you with completion or correction.
Printing an order summary
To get a printout of the shopping cart, including all of the information on your address, contact, and payment method, as well as the selected production and shipping services, click the “Print summary…” button.
Placing your order online
By clicking the Place order… button, you initiate the transfer of the shopping cart to our order server, including all of the information on your address, contact, and payment method, as well as on the production and shipping services selected. A window will inform you about the status of the transfer. Once the data fully arrives on our order server, your order will be placed and is binding.
The ordering program will confirm that our order server has successfully processed the data and display a provisional purchase order number. If any problems occur that prevent your data from being transferred properly, an error message will be triggered, including recommendations for further action if needed. In addition, an e-mail confirming the arrival of your order will be sent to your saved e-mail address(es).
You also have the option to save the shopping cart associated with the transferred order before it is permanently deleted after the order has been successfully completed.
Our order processing department reviews the transferred data once it arrives on our order server. If any questions of a technical or commercial nature should arise, we will contact you as soon as possible. Should no questions of this nature arise, you will receive an order confirmation at your saved e-mail address(es).
Creating an encrypted order file
You can also save your shopping cart, including all of the information on your address, contact, and payment method, as well as the selected production and shipping services and encrypted order files (*.fpa2).
This makes it possible for you to place your order independently of the ordering program, for example as an e-mail attachment or on a data carrier, along with your customer-supplied material.
Alternative for a failed online order:
If systematic communication problems arise with your online order (for example, when sending from a network), you can also send us the order file as an attachment. Please inform us of such error messages so we can remedy the situation as quickly as possible.
Request a quote for shopping cart
Click the Request a quote… button to receive a quote for the current shopping cart. This will send your shopping cart to Schaeffer AG without ordering. Shortly afterwards, you will receive a binding offer, with which you can continue working on your order.
In normal quantities and up to an order value of €900 (net), the communicated offer price will correspond to the price calculated by the software.
Saving your shopping cart as a template
You can save your shopping cart (without information on your address, contact, and payment method, etc.) at any time (*.fpb) in order to use it as a template for further orders.
